This aftermarket version is a practical solution for customers looking to refresh their cooking surface without replacing the entire OEM grid system.
BBQ Depot Tech Note: This grid is constructed from solid 5/16″ stainless steel rod. Some grills use wire-wrapped steel rod grids, where stainless wire is wrapped around a mild steel core. While both styles may appear similar at a glance, solid stainless rod grids offer superior corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
OEM Configuration Note: Many DCS grills use an OEM cast stainless finger grid style such as 212341 or 212272. These OEM finger grids require a greater quantity per grill (6 grids for 36″ models and 8 grids for 48″ models), which significantly increases full replacement cost.
