This Sunglo post-mount heater is an ideal choice for adding warmth and style to your outdoor space without taking up too much valuable floor space. It installs permanently on your patio and utilizes radiant heat to warm people and objects, not the surrounding air. The heater post is made from commercial-quality, 304-grade stainless steel. This patio heater uses natural gas and operates at 50,000 BTUs per hour. The deep-dish reflector broadcasts radiant heat over an area of up to 12 feet in diameter, depending on wind conditions. This heater features a safety pilot system that automatically shuts off the gas if the flame is lost. The Sunglo PSA265V requires a 24-volt electrical connection in order to operate the burner, the transformer is not included and should be supplied by the installer. The pilot is lit manually via the spark ignition system, and then the heater is controlled using an electrical switch, timer, or control device. A 24-inch clearance from combustibles around the sides of the heater is required for safe use.
